The Jacksonville Golf and Country Club Property Owners POA (POA) is the governing body responsible for maintaining the quality, security, and overall community standards within the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club neighborhood. The POA plays a crucial role in ensuring that property values remain high and that residents enjoy a well-maintained, aesthetically pleasing environment.
One of the primary responsibilities of the POA is enforcing community guidelines and deed restrictions. These regulations cover aspects such as architectural design, landscaping, and property maintenance, ensuring that all homes adhere to a consistent and upscale aesthetic. By upholding these standards, the POA helps foster a sense of uniformity and exclusivity within the neighborhood, preventing property value deterioration and disputes among residents.
In addition to property maintenance, the POA oversees security measures to ensure the safety and privacy of homeowners. The community provides 24 hour/day manned security gates with visitor screening. These measures not only provide peace of mind to residents, but also contribute to the overall desirability of the neighborhood. Security initiatives are regularly reviewed and updated to address potential risks and improve the safety of the community.
Beyond security and aesthetics, the POA manages the 3+ acre Woodland Park, which includes a full basketball court, pickleball court, playground area, workout obstacle course, baseball, and soccer fields. Additionally, it has a covered pavilion area with picnic tables, benches, and grills. The community also has a close relationship with the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club. Although the Club’s championship golf course meanders throughout the community, it is a separate and distinct entity. For more information regarding membership to the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club, visit their website at www.jaxgcc.com.

Lastly, the POA manages financial and administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of the neighborhood. Homeowners pay POA dues on a quarterly basis, which are allocated toward landscaping, infrastructure maintenance, security, and the fiber optic network. The POA Board, composed of elected homeowners, oversees budgeting, dispute resolution, and long-term planning to uphold the community’s reputation as one of Jacksonville’s most desirable places to live. Through careful governance and strategic planning, the POA plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of this distinguished residential enclave.
